- To protect EU citizen's health and to level the global playing field by ensuring the full implementation and enforcement of the EU laws governing GMP compliance of all API producers serving the EU market
- To promote the operational excellence, added value and security of supply provided by high quality European producers
- To communicate our position on major issues via this website, the trade press and publications
- To promote innovation (via EFCG's Innovation Committee)
- To inform, train and promote the European API community by organising international API conferences and events
- To form alliances with other (inter-) national trade associations on common issues
