EFCG Provides Testimony to the US Congress Sub-committee on November 1st - Press Release
 
"FDA's Foreign Drug Inspection Program: A System at Risk" was the subject of a public hearing before the United States House of Representatives' Sub-committee on Oversight and Investigations of the Committee on Energy and Commerce on 1st November in Washington DC.
 
EFCG was invited to provide testimony and did so in the form of a paper entitled "Enforcing the Quality of Medicines in a New World Order".
 
The testimony was given on behalf of EFCG by Mr Guy Villax, CEO of Hovione, Portugal - a member of the EFCG Board and immediate past-Chairman of the Pharmaceuticals Business Committee. Mr Villax gave a short verbal summary of the testimony before answering questions. Testimony was also given by a number of other people. The full Hearing was broadcast live over the internet.
